Privacy Policy
Effective date: 2026-09-05
This policy explains how Bruce Davidson (“we”, “us”) handles information when you use Fliteable or visit this website.
Flight Records and iCloud
Fliteable stores your logbook data on your device and uses Apple's CloudKit service to synchronize your data through iCloud where iCloud synchronization is available.
Data synchronized through CloudKit is associated with your Apple account and stored in your private CloudKit database. We do not operate a separate Fliteable account service or server for storing your logbook data, and your private logbook data is not sent to us.
CloudKit is operated by Apple and its use is also subject to Apple's applicable privacy and iCloud terms.
Photos
Fliteable allows you to select photos to attach to your flights. The app receives only the photos you choose through Apple's photo picker and does not require unrestricted access to your photo library.
Selected photos form part of your Fliteable data and may be synchronized through iCloud using CloudKit.
Location
Some Fliteable features may use your device's location, such as location-based or flight recording features.
Location access is provided using Apple's system APIs and requires the appropriate permission from you. Fliteable does not use your location for advertising or tracking, and your location information is not sent to us.
You can control Fliteable's access to your location through your device's privacy settings.
Analytics, Advertising and Tracking
Fliteable and this website do not use third-party analytics, advertising SDKs, cross-site tracking, or advertising cookies.
We do not sell your personal information or use your information for advertising.
This website does not create user accounts or collect information through web forms.
Retention and Deletion
Your Fliteable data remains on your device and, where synchronized, within your private iCloud storage until it is deleted.
You can delete individual records within Fliteable or use the Delete All Data option in Data Management to delete all of your Fliteable data.
Where data has been synchronized with iCloud, deletions are synchronized through Apple's CloudKit service.
Deleting Fliteable from a device does not necessarily delete data that has already been synchronized with iCloud.
Children
Fliteable is a general-audience pilot utility and is not directed specifically to children. We do not knowingly operate a service that collects children's personal information.
Changes to This Policy
We may revise this policy if Fliteable's features or data practices change. The effective date above will be updated when a revised policy is published.

Because your private CloudKit data is not provided to us, requests relating to that data may need to be completed through Fliteable or your Apple account.
